My name is Joey Castaneda, and I am currently about to gradute from The Prairie School. Throughout my high school career, I've participated in theater, athletics, music, and I've been a part of many different school clubs and organizations. I will be going to Carleton College next fall, where I will hopefully learn a lot and figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life, or at least the rest of my life as a young adult. I knew that I wanted to make my capstone about the outdoors after spring break my Junior year when I went to Capitol Reef national park in Utah with my school. The entire experience was life changing, and it was the catalyst for my interest in the outdoors and outdoor recreation. Hopefully after exploring this website, you'll learn a little about outdoor recreation opportunities and how you can use those opportunities to change the lives around you.
