For my first move, I thought it would be important to provide some general facts about the environment and the involvement in outdoor recreation in the United States. Thanks to Piktochart.com, I was able to create an infographic that puts all of this information together. Using research from my summer reading book and the internet, I was able to gather enough information about the current state of outdoor recreation and environmental issues both here in the U.S. and in the world. I know there are a lot of visual learners out there, and I wanted to create both an effective and an aesthetically pleasing way to start of my capstone. What better way than by creating an infographic? Infographics are an easy way to get information across while appealing to everyone.
