Even though this capstone has taken me all over the place, I've learned that most people know about the problems that the environment is facing. These people realize the values that nature has, and they realize that there are tons of opportunities that the natural world offers for recreational activities. All most people will need is that initial spark, whether it's teaching a kid how to fish, being led with a group of teenagers through a canyon, remembering to turn off the lights before you leave, or even going camping for the first time. Hopefully I can help some kids with that spark this summer when I am working as a tripping co-leader at Camp Manitowish.  After that initial spark, people will be changed forever and they will be more than willing to help out the world through all of the tons of opportunities that are waiting outside.
